Twm
Hi, my name is Twm.
I am a very loving and affectionate 14 year old Tabby.
I was admitted with my sister Tiggs from a residence and, having gotten used to the peace and quiet of confinement, I was a little stressed once visitors were again allowed into the center.
All the ladies in Freshfields tell me I’m super affectionate but I think my age might be off-putting to some.
I would consider a long term foster home, as long as you can give me as much love and affection as I promise to give you.

Betty
Hello, I’m Betty!
I’m about three years old (we can’t be sure, but age is just a number after all!)
After being found living on the streets, I was recently brought to Freshfields.
I had a house but was never microchipped so my previous owners were never found and now I am looking for my new forever home.
I love curling up in my bed for a nap, but I can be feisty sometimes – a typical Tortie!

Delilah
My name is Delilah and I am two years old.
I had been hanging out at Freshfields for about a month when I was welcomed.
I had become so stressed from living like a stray that my fur started falling out!
Luckily it is now growing back and looking better than ever, thanks to the lovely staff at Freshfields.
I’m not ashamed to say that I like lots of attention and fuss, so the more people who can give me that, the better!
I am the ideal pet because I am very affectionate.

yoshi
Hi, I’m Yoshi.
I’m just a baby who hasn’t been a year for a long time.
I can be very shy and whistle at first – it’s just because I’m nervous from living like a stray all my life.
I promise you won’t regret it once you get to know me, even if it takes me a while to adjust to you.
Because I’m quite a shy girl, I would benefit from having another cat at home, just to help me out of my shell.
Can you give me the love and attention I need to realize that some people are worth letting my guard down?

buffy
Hi, I’m Buffy, and I’m the longest resident cat at Gwynedd Centre!
I’m five years old and I’ve been at the center for five whole weeks – I could probably run the place myself now!
As much as I love this place, I’m ready to find a new family after my previous landlord felt like he wasn’t giving me enough time and attention.
Someone booked me in but they never came back to pick me up – I don’t understand why as everyone at Freshfields tells me how good I look.
I love having my tummy tickled and I’m great around other cats – what’s not to love?

Meirion
Hello, my name is Meirion.
I’m about a year old and I’ve lived my whole life on the streets.
There was a nice old man who fed me and helped me socialize, but unfortunately he passed away and I was left on my own again.
I’ve started to trust the lovely people here at Freshfields, but my new landlord has to be patient and has to be able to give me the time I need to gain some trust.
I savor a little tickle under my chin, and purr loudly to say thank you!

Cassie
Salvation! We are Cassie and Tottie, two Miniature Shetlanders living in Freshfields in Gwynedd.
As mother (Cassie – above) and daughter (Tottie – below), we come as a couple.
At 20 and 13, we’ve both been here for seven years, but we’ve also been in foster homes during that time.
We were told we would make PERFECT ponies because we are so great with adults and children.
Be warned though, we will most definitely try to sit on your lap if we get the chance!

Anne
My name is Annie and I am 18 years old.
I’m a big gypsy cob cross horse and unfortunately I have arthritis so I can’t be ridden.
Despite my illness, I take no medication and I would like a companion with experience.
I can be a little pushy at times, but there’s nothing wrong with knowing what you’re thinking!
I’ve been here for a year now and since I can’t be ridden no one seems to be interested in me.
Can you offer me a loving home?

Ludo
My name is Ludo and I am eight years old.
My previous owner brought me to the center after showing signs of stress when he got a new pet.
At Freshfields, I was stress-free!
I’m very clean and like to make stories and treats. Because I like to be the center of attention, it’s better if I’m the only pet at home.
I love children, but the older they are the better for them to understand that sometimes I need my space and maybe I need time to settle down.

Axel
Hi – I’m Axel, a 21 year old Dartmoor pony!
I was taken from Dartmoor with hundreds of others in the annual pony roundup in 2016.
I was then sent to an auction where I just missed being sold for meat and came to Freshfields with two of my buddies!
I can be mischievous and am very full of myself!
I’ve been told I’m such a character and I make them all smile at Freshfields!
Although I am asthmatic and in need of medication, I am no less kind, I just need an experienced household with limited grazing.

brian
Hello, I’m Brian!
I was told that I was something of a fashion icon at the center and became the go-to for PR opportunities.
I have a great temper and I’m always brilliant with the kids when they come to visit.
I’m a bit vain, a bit with a mane like mine, can you blame me?
