Mumbai’s popular matchmaker Sima Taparia is back for Indian Matchmaking season 2 on Netflix. The eight episodes of the second season will be released soon. The new hour-long episodes will feature Taparia working with millennials around the world to find their perfect partner. The expectations of current and potential customers are higher than ever this season.
In order to help lucky singles find their chosen one, Taparia will once again rely on her decades of knowledge and conventional methods, whether it’s navigating a single’s wish list or their diet. “ovo-lacto-semi-vegetarian”. The show’s creator and executive producer, Oscar-nominated Smriti Mundhra, said Season 1 of Indian Matchmaking have received an outpouring of support and are thrilled to be back with new episodes that explore the emotional roller coaster and difficult conversations encountered when looking for love.
The show’s executive producers include Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, and JC Begley. It was nominated for an Outstanding Unstructured Reality program Emmy in 2021. The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), a division of Sony Pictures TV, is in charge of production Indian Matchmaking. In July 2020, Season 1 debuted on Netflix.
A new series called Jewish twinning joins the franchise, Netflix revealed in March. The spin-off will follow soul mates in America and Israel who turn to a Jewish matchmaker employing the custom of a shidduch. Sima Taparia has released the first images of the upcoming season on his official Instagram page. Taparia crosses her hands in the first image, and in the next few images, we recognize a few familiar faces, including Aparna Shewakramani.

Indian Matchmaking Season 2 Premiere Date
